  Q. Does the Powertiki have a timer?
  A. The Powertiki has a unique fully resin sealed timer that can be set from 5 minutes to 35 minutes using the easily operated switch.
     
  Q. How many sets will you get from the fully charged batteries?
  A. The Powertiki will average two 20 minute sets (a distance of 700-1000 metres each set subject to conditions) per battery charge.
     
  Q. How many hooks can be used on a Long line?
  A. In New Zealand 25 is the current maximum. We would suggest that you become familiar with all rules and regulations in your area before fishing.
     
  Q. How long should you leave the long line out?
  A. It is up to the individual although we would suggest approximately 20-40 minutes after the timer stops.
     
  Q. How much does the Powertiki weigh?
  A. The Powertiki weighs approximately: 17.5kgs including batteries
     
  Q. How long to recharge the batteries?
  A. After use the batteries require 6 – 8 hours to fully recharge.  The battery charger supplied with all Powertikis will recharge and maintain the batteries until next required.
     
  Q. What stops the Powertiki electric winch from over-loading?
  A. The Powertiki electric winch has an adjustable tension pulley, a built in slip factor and an overload circuit breaker to prevent the motor overloading.
     
  Q. Why is the Powertiki longer that other kontikis?
  A. The Powertiki was designed to be more streamlined for both launching and retrieval. The Powertiki had all its testing done in the rugged west coast surf to ensure the Powertiki could handle tough conditions easily, its length is an important feature.
